Order-to-Raise Reservations (Turkeys, Geese, Pigs, Chickens)
1. Require a deposit to reserve. This supports us as we feed, care, and house the animals as we prepare them for you.
2. Final pricing is based on hanging weight for our pigs and live weight for your poultry. Weight ranges advertised are estimates only and may naturally vary. Price per pound is listed at the time of reservation.
3. Pigs are processed off-property and require a 1-week wait for pickup. All other animals are processed on our property.
4. Customers will be notified via text/email when orders are ready. Orders MUST be picked up within 2 business days unless prior arrangements are made. Unclaimed orders may incur storage fees or be forfeited without refund.
5. Deposits are non-refundable. If WE must cancel due to illness, loss, or emergency, customers may choose a refund or transfer the deposit to the next available processing date.
Eggs, Produce, & Dry Goods
1. Eggs are sold FCFS unless a subscription or weekly hold is established. They are collected daily and may be sold washed or unwashed. Washed eggs must be refrigerated promptly after pickup.
2. Produce availability depends on weather, growing conditions, and harvest schedules. If a crop fails, substitutes or refunds may be offered when appropriate.
3. Beeswax wraps and other handmade items are produced in small batches. Natural variations in scent, texture, and color are normal.
4. Beeswax wraps should NOT be used to store raw meat or seafood.
Payments
1. We accept: Cash, credit/debit cards, online invoices, or approved payment methods
2. Deposits for raised meat are due at the reservation. The remaining balance is due at pickup. Orders MUST be paid in FULL before release.
Liability
1. Customers are responsible for proper handling, storage and cooking of all products.
2. Meat must be cooked to USDA-recommended temperatures.
3. We are not liable for improper storage or handling after pickup.
Animal Welfare
We raise all animals with humane, free-range, and organic-aligned practices. We reserve the right to make decisions based on the health and welfare of the animals.
Weather & Acts of Nature
Farming is subject to unpredictable conditions (weather, predators, disease, etc.). If losses occur due to events beyond our control, we will notify customers and offer refunds, replacements, or credits when possible.
At Frontier Freedom Acres, we take great care in raising our animals, harvesting produce, and crafting our handmade goods. Because our products are perishable or made to order, all sales are final. Please read the policy below before placing your order:
We do NOT accept returns on any products, including: order-to-raise livestock (turkeys, geese, pigs, chickens), farm-fresh eggs, produce and vegetables, beeswax wraps and handmade goods, any food or perishable items.
Due to food safety laws and the nature of small-batch production, once a product leaves the farm, it cannot be returned.
Refunds are only issued under the following circumstances:
1. If we cancel due to owner illness, loss of animals, emergencies on the farm, force majeure events (extreme weather, natural disasters, catastrophic loss), THEN you may choose (1) a full refund of your deposit, OR (2) transfer of your deposit to the next available processing date.
Customer cancellations are not eligible for refunds, without exception.
While returns and refunds are not accepted, we want you to be satisfied.
If you have a concern about the quality of a product, please contact us within 48 hours of pickup so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.
